2026 Ryder Cup

Lima Country Club • July 9–19, 2026

Entry & Registration

Participants must be 21 years or older.

Field is capped at 24 players. Spots are held in the order payment is received — your place is not secured until entry fee is paid in full.

Entry fee is $170 per player. Greens fees for non-members are not included but can be negotiated with the course due to volume.

Refunds are available up to July 3, 2026, unless circumstances warrant otherwise.

The field must be a multiple of 4. If the field falls short, the last players in will be refunded.

What's Included
  • Hot dog & drink ticket with each round
  • Access to the Airbnb between the two courses (Friday afternoon through Sunday)
  • $250 cash per player on the winning team
  • Skins, long drive, and closest-to-the-pin competitions available every round
Teams & Draft

Each player submits one captain vote. The two players with the most votes become captains — Oak Dicks and Pine Pricks.

The draft is held Thursday July 9 after league play concludes at the Lima CC restaurant.

All players must have a tracked handicap (GHIN, app, or league minimum) — captains use this to draft.

Draft order:

  1. Higher handicap captain picks 1st
  2. Other captain picks 2nd & 3rd
  3. First captain picks 4th
  4. Alternating order for remaining picks

Playoff Format

If the teams are tied after 4 rounds, a championship playoff match is played on Sunday afternoon.

Format: Alternate shot, sudden death match play

  • Each captain independently selects a teammate (the "index slot" player) from their roster
  • The captain and their selected player play as a 2-person team
  • Captains tee off on each hole
  • Match ends the moment one team wins a hole (sudden death)
  • Winner earns 2 points for the team
How Matches Are Set

Matches are set in standard Ryder Cup alternating format after the draft:

  1. Captain 1 names a 2-person team
  2. Captain 2 responds with their 2-person team — match set
  3. Captain 2 names a 2-person team
  4. Captain 1 responds — match set
  5. Repeat until all matches are set for the round

This process repeats before each of the 4 rounds. Matches are played scratch (no handicap strokes).

USGA rules govern all play. Good sportsmanship is strongly encouraged.
